This role is responsible for managing service requests, maintaining equipment and facilities, and ensuring that all maintenance work is performed safely and according to organizational standards. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: Assist in hiring, training and mentoring maintenance staff to improve skills and ensure consistent performance Manage daily and on-call schedules for maintenance technicians Manage daily maintenance activities and service requests, ensuring work is performed efficiently and in accordance with plans and specifications Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure maintenance activities meet quality standards and organizational specifications Manage service budgets and control costs to optimize resource allocation Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and proactively address potential issues Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service requests Review, correct, approve time and time off requests for assigned team in the company's HRIS system Respond to unexpected maintenance challenges, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions promptly Communicate effectively with maintenance staff, management, and other stakeholders to coordinate work and provide status updates Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational maintenance procedures Qualifications Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in maintenance management, facilities management, or related field; minimum of 3-5 years of experience desired Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repair processes Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills Effective leadership and team management abilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff and stakeholders Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems (CMMS) and general office software Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and work orders Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Combination of office and hands-on maintenance environments Exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, dust, and varying temperatures during inspections and maintenance activities Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing, crouching, reaching, stretching, standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering equipment as needed Occasional on-call or after-hours work may be required depending on maintenance emergencies
