Lead Development Representative (LDR) – Doctor Detail Team

Altruix is a high-touch pharmacy dedicated to serving behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disability populations. Through our pharmacy expertise, Medherent technology, and specialized packaging, we promote medication adherence and improve patient outcomes. Our services help clients take medications as prescribed while reducing administrative burden for providers. Altruix customers achieve measurable results, including 90% adherence rates and a 40% reduction in ER and hospital-related costs.


Altruix is seeking a Lead Development Representative (LDR) to join our growing Doctor Detail Team. In this role, you'll own an assigned territory and help expand Altruix's provider network by identifying prospective provider organizations, researching decision-makers, building provider relationships, and generating qualified business opportunities for our Business Development team.


Success in this role requires a combination of strategic research, CRM expertise, and outbound prospecting. You'll spend much of your day researching providers, identifying key contacts, mining and maintaining CRM data, and developing relationships that create new business opportunities.


Working closely with our Business Development Directors, you'll qualify opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and help drive territory growth across the behavioral health and specialty pharmacy markets.


This is a primarily remote position with occasional travel to our Hunt Valley, MD headquarters for meetings, collaboration, and business needs.


Compensation: $90,000 base salary + 10% commission, based on experience and qualifications.


What You'll Do

Territory Development & Lead Generation

· Own and develop an assigned geographic territory.

· Research provider offices, physician practices, behavioral health organizations, and referral sources to identify new business opportunities.

· Identify physicians, providers, office managers, and other key decision-makers using HubSpot, LinkedIn, Google, provider websites, and other research tools.

· Build relationships through outbound phone, email, and virtual outreach.

· Qualify leads and develop a healthy pipeline before partnering with the Business Development Director.

· Support long-term territory growth by consistently developing new provider relationships.

· Segment and prioritize provider opportunities based on territory strategy, market fit, and growth potential.


CRM Research & Data Management

· Perform extensive CRM data mining to identify opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.

· Research, validate, and enrich provider contact information.

· Maintain CRM accuracy by updating records, merging duplicate accounts, and ensuring data integrity.

· Monitor CRM activity and pipeline trends to identify warm leads, re-engagement opportunities, and areas for territory growth.

· Document outreach activity, conversations, and next steps within HubSpot.


Sales Partnership

· Partner closely with Business Development Directors to execute territory growth strategies.

· Coordinate introductions and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities.

· Share provider insights, market intelligence, and competitive feedback.

· Track pipeline activity, outreach efforts, and lead generation metrics.


Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

· 2+ years of experience in Lead Development, Sales Development, Business Development, Provider Outreach, Inside Sales, or a similar role.

· Experience using a CRM platform to manage prospecting activity and maintain accurate customer data.

· Strong research skills with the ability to identify decision-makers and build prospect lists.

· Experience with outbound prospecting and relationship building.

· Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.

· Ability to work independently while managing an assigned territory.


Preferred Qualifications

· Hands-on HubSpot experience strongly preferred.

· Pharmacy experience preferred; healthcare or other provider-facing experience will also be considered.

· Experience calling on physician offices, behavioral health organizations, or healthcare providers.

· Experience with CRM data mining, enrichment, and duplicate management.

· Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar prospecting tools.
