About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Must be able to receive, store, disburse, and account for all material controlled by manufacturing storerooms. 
  • Disburses material or parts to internal customers requesting storeroom transactions. 
  • Verifies parts or material and amounts against information on the purchase or manufacturing orders, checks for required inspection stamps, and checks for correct finish on parts.
  • Responsible for assuring parts/material is properly identified and packaged. 
  • Locates parts/material in proper bin in accordance with manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintains records of materials received, disbursed, and on hand.
  • Responsible for assuring inventory accuracy and record integrity through cycle counting and auditing of all physical inventories and monitoring all inventory transactions and records.
  • Resolves storeroom discrepancies.
  • May move material by hand, truck or conveyor within assigned storage area.
  • May be required to transport material between work centers.
  • Practices good safety habits and maintains good housekeeping.
  • Performs other clerical or material handling duties as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 



Qualifications
 

  • Knowledge of manufacturing policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of production and inventory control systems.
  • Written and oral communication skills which support cooperation with manufacturing personnel and support organizations.
  • Basic personal computer skills. (e.g., word processing and spreadsheets).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to understand and interpret prints, bills of material and parts lists.
  • Ability to work with measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work from verbal instructions.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
  • This position is subject to noise.
  • This position may require the ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
  • This position may require certification to drive a company truck.
  • Eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
