Position Overview: 

The Field Installation Supervisor is integral to our post-sale process and our customers’ satisfaction. WindowRama’s Field Inspector provides accurate project measurements to the relevant stakeholders, ensures all orders meet installation specifications and ensures that our 1099 subcontractors install our products per industry/company standards.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Visit residential customer sites to measure each window, door, sliding glass door opening as needed.
  • Ensure order meets required installation specifications; ensure comprehensive purchase order, including material and labor requirements
  • Support pricing process by providing accurate measurements and assessments for labor/materials
  • Review installation process with customers
  • Guide the installation crews and ensure that products are installed to both company and industry standards
  • Coordinate with installation scheduling department to ensure timely installation of ready product. As needed
  • Perform routine job site inspections 
  • Maybe required to do light service work as well
  • Ensure contractors are maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ensure all required safety training is completed  
  • Ensure business is conducted to the highest ethical standards
  • Perform final walkthrough of completed work with the customer, complete any open items, obtain signed project completion form, and collect the final balance
  • Assist accounting department with collecting outstanding balances
  • To achieve measuring and ordering windows and doors, with less than 2% error rate
  • To achieve 100% customer satisfaction on all installation projects

Required Education and Experience:

  • Proficient knowledge of installation/service methods for window and door projects.  
  • OSHA, EPA, Installation Masters training, and additional related certifications helpful
  •  Proven leadership skills and ability to train others, with the desire to see that every job is completed correctly with attention to detail and a customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication skills, and customer service skills
  • Ability to ensure each job is completed in compliance with written safety policies

 

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive, see, walk, talk, and hear. The employee can expect to work outside in various weather conditions.   Employees must be able to climb a ladder, and be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds and/or push-pull up to 100 pounds.
