 Position Overview: 

Purchasing Associates confirm orders and update Sales Associates with ETA’s.   They place orders for products.   This position requires computer proficiency. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Liaison between vendor representative and salespersons and WindowRama
  • Review sales orders and contact sales people if needed to ensure accuracy on order. 
  • Process orders directly with manufacturers confirm order.  
  • Expedite purchase orders and inform sales force if there is any change to original delivery date.

  • Ability to supervise and develop subordinate staff.

Required Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration preferred but not required
  • Industry knowledge a plus- building supplies, home improvements, windows
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and achieve results
  • Proficiency with computers (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions
