Financial Planner (Women's Wealth Advisory Services)

Oak Harvest Financial Group | GoGo Sisterhood

Houston, TX | Hybrid | Full-Time (Salaried Exempt)

This isn't a cold-calling job. It's a calling.

At Oak Harvest Financial Group, we believe money is never the end goal. It's the tool that allows people to build lives of purpose, freedom, generosity, and impact.

Through our educational workshops, women's events, and the growing GoGo Sisterhood community, we meet hundreds of women who are asking bigger questions:

“What is my money really for?”

We're looking for an experienced Financial Advisor who can continue that conversation.

This role is ideal for a seasoned advisor who loves building authentic relationships, enjoys helping women and couples navigate life's transitions, and wants to spend less time prospecting and more time making a meaningful difference.

About the Role

You'll become the trusted guide women and couples meet after attending our workshops, seminars, and educational events.

Rather than generating your own leads through cold outreach, you'll receive warm introductions from individuals and couples who have already connected with our message and are seeking professional guidance.

Your responsibility is to thoughtfully transition them from inspiration to implementation, helping them organize their financial lives and build plans that align with what matters most.

You'll work closely with Jessica Cannella, Co-Founder and President of Oak Harvest Financial Group and Founder of GoGo Sisterhood, along with our planning team, to deliver an exceptional first impression and create lifelong client relationships.

As Jessica continues to expand her educational platform, speaking engagements, and women's community, you'll play a vital role in serving the people inspired by her message and helping them turn confidence into action through personalized financial guidance.

Most of the individuals you'll serve are successful women over 40 and couples navigating retirement, career transitions, divorce, widowhood, business ownership, or the next chapter of life.

What You'll Do

  • Meet one-on-one with qualified prospects from seminars, workshops, referrals, and GoGo Sisterhood events.
  • Conduct meaningful discovery meetings that uncover each client's values, goals, concerns, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our planning team to develop comprehensive financial strategies.
  • Guide prospective clients through the first, second, and third meeting process.
  • Confidently ask for the business and help clients move forward with clarity.
  • Build long-term relationships through exceptional communication and follow-up.
  • Attend women's events, workshops, and community gatherings as a representative of Oak Harvest Financial Group and GoGo Sisterhood.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance the client experience and strengthen our women's initiative.
  • Continue learning and growing alongside a collaborative advisory team.

Who You Are

You're someone people naturally trust.

You know how to make complex financial topics feel approachable. You genuinely enjoy listening to people's stories and helping them make wise decisions.

You're equally comfortable discussing retirement planning, investments, insurance, tax-efficient strategies, and legacy planning as you are talking about family, purpose, and life's next chapter.

You love helping women and couples gain confidence with their finances and understand that the best advisors lead with empathy before expertise.

You're a relationship builder, a great listener, and someone who naturally creates confidence without pressure.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor in a client facing environment
  • Retirement planning experience strongly preferred
  • CFP®, ChFC®, or equivalent designation preferred
  • Series 65 required
  • Life & Health Insurance License
  • Strong planning and relationship management experience
  • Proven ability to convert qualified prospects into long-term clients
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable
  • Collaborative mindset with a desire to be part of something bigger than yourself
  • Passion for serving women, couples, and families
  • Experience with financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro, Redtail, or similar) preferred.

Additional Details

  • This position requires some attendance at client events and seminars.
  • Driving to and from events is required
  • Occasionally lifting up to 10lb box with collateral materials
  • This position involves access to confidential client financial information and requires strict adherence to all privacy, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and compliance policies.
  • Oak Harvest operates in a highly regulated environment. Employees are expected to comply with all applicable SEC regulations, firm policies, privacy requirements, information security standards, and record-retention procedures.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment screenings, including background, employment verification, and assessment.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

Unlike many advisory firms, you won't spend your days cold calling or purchasing leads.

Instead, you'll receive introductions to individuals and couples who already know our story, have attended our educational events, and are looking for a trusted financial partner.

You'll become part of a growing movement focused on helping women make smarter financial decisions while serving couples and families with comprehensive financial guidance that reflects what matters most to them.

This is a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships while partnering with one of Houston's leading independent wealth management firms and a growing women's community dedicated to helping women thrive financially and personally.

If you've reached a stage in your career where purpose matters just as much as production, we'd love to meet you.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive first-year salary plus production-based compensation
  • Qualified leads generated through seminars, workshops, referrals, and GoGo Sisterhood
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid Long Term Disability Benefits
  • Ancillary Voluntary Benefits Offerings
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous paid time off and holidays
  • Ongoing professional development
  • Collaborative planning team and marketing support
  • Opportunity to grow alongside an expanding women's initiative
