Supervisory Responsibilities: This position supervises the Night shift team members and their activities.


Position Summary: The Manager of Night shift supervises and manages the night shift crew. They are responsible for executing and completing the daily and weekly tasks, and ensuring all tasks meet Metrolina quality and time standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Foster teamwork to ensure timely completion of daily and weekly tasks lists.

• Assess challenges, exhibit critical thinking, and make effective decisions.

• Responsible for hiring top talent while maintaining a positive and efficient recruitment process.

• Cultivate a high-performing team through recruiting, training, developing and retention efforts.

• Communicate nightly personnel assignments for the crew.

• Provide safety training to employees, ensuring they understand safety protocols and procedures.

• Ensure proper use of safety equipment and resources.

• Responsible for approving the teams’ timecards for payroll purposes weekly.

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience.

• 3+ years of management of leadership in a warehouse, production, or related field. • Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict timelines and manage time effectively.

• Skill in prioritization and appropriate delegation.

• Proficiency in mediating and resolving employee conflicts.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Basic Microsoft Office 365 working knowledge (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Ability to manage employee records in the company’s HRIS.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 working knowledge (Excel, Teams, Visio, PowerPoint)

• Experience managing employee records in ADP.

• Bi-lingual in Spanish
