About the Role:

The Splicer plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by expertly joining materials to create seamless and durable products. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that all splices meet stringent quality standards and contribute to the overall integrity of the final product. The Splicer will work closely with fabrication teams to interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring that all splicing operations align with production requirements. This role is essential in maintaining efficient workflow and minimizing material waste, directly impacting production timelines and cost-effectiveness. Ultimately, the Splicer ensures that the manufacturing output is reliable, consistent, and meets customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in fabrication or a related manufacturing role involving splicing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or formal training in fabrication or splicing techniques.
  • Experience working with automated splicing machinery.
  • Basic understanding of quality control processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on splicing equipment.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting within the United States.
