Overview
Job Summary
Evaluates and assesses patients to establish functional, measurable goals to promote restoration of functional abilities. Provides treatment according to a written plan of care to meet established goals. Plans for discharge and communicates findings and progress according to professional licensure/certification, scope of practice and departmental/discipline policies and procedures. Produces other reports as needed. May supervise clinical students and support staff including certified/licensed assistants, technicians, and volunteers. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health, and healing. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience
Minimum Required
Experience as obtained through the completion of a Radiology Technology Program.
Preferred/Desired
1 year experience in a clinical setting.
Education
Minimum Required
Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT. Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with current Registry in Radiography ARRT(R).
Preferred/Desired
Associates degree in related field
Special Skills
Minimum Required
| Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory. Utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results. Demonstrates ability to receive and follow written and oral instructions; ability to plan and organize work. |
Licensure
Minimum Required
ARRT (R); BLS Certification within 14 days of hire.
