This role is part of our Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business, which designs, develops, and delivers highly dependable missile systems for hypersonic and strategic missile defense missions. We provide integrated, mission-ready hardware that brings together multiple technologies into unified systems engineered to perform in demanding operational environments. Our tip-to-tail capabilities include payload protection and deployment systems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic interstage systems, separation systems, missile subsystems, shroud systems, launch systems, and payload integration solutions.

The Janitor supports facility operations by ensuring that all workspaces, common areas, and exterior grounds remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role helps keep production and office environments running smoothly by performing daily cleaning, addressing non-routine needs, and responding to urgent sanitation or upkeep requests that support a dependable, functional workplace.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing of offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchen, dining areas, and shared spaces.
• Maintains building floors through sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing.
• Removes daily garbage and recycling and prepares containers for weekly pick-up.
• Conducts non-routine cleaning and special projects based on work orders.
• Responds to urgent or emergency cleaning needs to support safe operations.
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, and restocks janitorial supply closets.
• Supports exterior upkeep, including parking lot and outdoor area cleaning.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking for extended periods.
• Prolonged repetitive motions.
• Frequent holding, grasping, turning, and other hand-related tasks.
• Occasional climbing of stairs or ramps.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, bend, stoop, or carry a minimum of 10 pounds.
• Constant reaching overhead, at shoulder level, and below shoulder level. The essential functions of this position must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
