SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • None

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Provide administrative support within the Quality Control Department
  • Compliant with ISO:9001 and adhering to government and agency regulation standards
  • Organize audit paperwork, registrations, and certifications
  • Organize files for lab equipment calibration and maintain the master schedule for maintenance of that equipment as needed 
  • Support the shop floor with providing data and aiding documentation to complete work performed
  • Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
  • Manage and maintain records for the Quality Department as needed
  • Propose recommendations for improving content management system capabilities. 
  • Collaborate with and provide general support to department members by creating a smooth workflow, which may entail assisting with each other’s work when necessary. 
  • Communicate well with others, and foster teamwork and a positive environment.
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
  • Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
  • Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents, from notes or dictating machines, using computers. 
  • Sorting, filing, answering phones when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Detail oriented and goal oriented 
  • Ability to work independently and follow up on multiple tasks/projects 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong written and organizational skills 
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 & AS 9100 
  • Safely performs assignments, follows applicable safety practices, policies, and safe work behavior. 
  • Notifies management or appropriate personnel when a job hazard or an unsafe work practice emerges during work 
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person) 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Quality Control is a plus 
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook procedures
  • Ability to read, speak and write in English.
