The Role

Mach Industries is seeking a Quality Reliability Specialist to execute and sustain the day-to-day operational systems that support engineering reliability, issue control, traceability, and quality management system effectiveness. You will manage nonconformance records, issue workflows, inspection coordination, quality records, document revisions, and inventory traceability. This role works across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Test, and customer-quality activities. The work is hands-on and connected to production, inspection, material control, audits, and hardware records in Huntington Beach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and sustain nonconformance, material review board, corrective-action, and issue-tracking workflows for production and engineering hardware.

  • Create, maintain, and close nonconformance records with accurate containment, disposition, evidence, ownership, and status information.

  • Coordinate source, receiving, in-process, and final inspections while maintaining clear inspection records and material status.

  • Support material review board activities and corrective actions by coordinating required information, approvals, follow-up, and closure.

  • Maintain quality records, document revisions, audit checklists, and document-control activities across the quality management system.

  • Support internal quality audits and early-process implementation by preparing records, tracking actions, and verifying completion.

  • Maintain inventory and traceability controls for material, components, serialized hardware, inspection status, and disposition history.

  • Support production, supplier, and customer-quality activities by preparing records, coordinating responses, and communicating open risks and actions.

  • Quarterly project to learn and use productions tool such as FMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Analysis, etc.

  • Up to 50% travel

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant hands-on experience in quality operations, manufacturing operations, inspection coordination, document control, or a related hardware environment

  • Experience maintaining nonconformance, material review, corrective-action, quality, inventory, or issue-tracking records.

  • Knowledge of basic quality practices including containment, disposition, corrective action, inspection records, document control, and traceability.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records, follow defined workflows, identify missing information, and drive actions to closure.

  • Ability to coordinate clearly with engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, suppliers, and inspection personnel.

  • Ability to work hands-on in production and inspection environments while managing multiple priorities and changing requirements.

  • Inspection experience and familiar with measurement hand tools, GD&T, and product documentation review

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, internal audits, supplier audits, or other quality management system requirements.

  • Experience with source inspection, receiving inspection, calibration or metrology records, or material-certification review.

  • Experience using QMS, ERP, PLM, inventory, document-control, or issue-management software.

  • Experience supporting prototype builds, early production implementation, supplier quality, or customer-quality activities.

  • Experience with measurement software such as Verisurf, Polyworks, Calypso

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
