Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems (power distribution, stand-by power generation, lighting, communication, fire alarm, security systems)
- Manage team of electrical engineers in a variety of project design and development tasks:
- drawings
- calculations
- cost estimates
- specifications
- client communication
- contractor submittal reviews
- Review design documents
- Ensure department adheres to QA/QC standards
- Assist with developing QA/QC standards
- Assist with business development initiatives
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
- 5+ years of consulting experience (designing building power, lighting, communication and security systems)
- Experience with HVAC and plumbing systems preferred
- PE License
- Extensive knowledge of the architectural/engineering industry (Federal, State, and local laws/regulations)
- Experience using Outlook and Microsoft Office (or similar software)
- LEED Accreditation
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Easy Power preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
