Sonic Summary

The position involves managing clinical activities within the assigned department to ensure optimal services in both the Medical Center and the community.
The Exercise Physiologist will conduct fitness assessments and create personalized exercise prescriptions for clients.
Responsibilities include supervising exercise programs and overseeing the selection and use of exercise equipment.
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or a related field is required for this role.
While experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, and the salary for this position is competitive.

Responsible and accountable for management of the clinical activities of the assigned department so that optimal services are provided within the Medical Center setting and the community. The Exercise Physiologist performs fitness assessments, and develops individual exercise prescriptions for members/clients. Supervises member/client exercise programs and manages selection, calibration and use of exercise equipment. Leads exercise programs and participates in special programs.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Master’s or Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or other related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience preferred but not required.

SKILLS:

Knowledge of current practices in cardiac rehabilitation or wellness/fitness area.
