About the Role:
My Pet's Vet is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist/CSR to join our busy animal hospital! This role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing exceptional customer service to pet owners. We are seeking somone who is friendly, professional, organized and is able to multi-task.Â
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized front desk.
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries with professionalism.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handle billing and payment transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Educate clients on services and products available at the clinic.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a veterinary or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for animal care.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Proficient in using computer systems and veterinary software.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards pets and their owners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
