Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Perform field service tasks to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory of parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols while performing all tasks in compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in construction or property maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with HVAC design principles and refrigeration cycles.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and pressure gauges.
• Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repair.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Pay: $23.00 - $44.00 per hour
