We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our fast paced, diverse, and safety- centric team.

A typical day as an Electric Engineer can include:

  • Provides the sales team and customers with technical support on all Hiwin electrical products (motors, drives, controllers, and Robot electrical systems); 
  • Supports the mechatronics and electrical engineering teams on internal developments and external (customer) projects through communications with the project team, conducting review meetings, and providing input pertaining to product design, specifications, system architecture and component selection;
  • Tests new products, including motors, drives and controllers. Evaluates and supports 3rd party drives and controllers. This includes testing, qualifying, and documenting such 3rd party products;
  • Provides cable management for motors, encoders, sensors, etc. in motion systems. Creates wiring schematics, cable drawings and related documentation.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. (Candidates with a Mechatronics Engineering Degree with a control’s concentration will be considered);
  • Relevant coursework and interest in motion control, automation, robotics, and mechatronics;
  • 1-2 years prior work experience with electrical testing equipment and instrumentation;
  • 2 years’ Electrical engineering experience preferably in mechatronics, with specific experience with electric motors, servo drives and closed-loop motion control;
