AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Redstone Test and Engineering Services (RTES) contract in support of the Redstone Test Center mission to provide superior technical expertise conducting tests, analyzing the results, and reporting the results on systems, subsystems, and components related to aviation, missile, and sensor platforms

 

 

Education: High School Diploma/GED

 

Months/Years of Experience: Three (3) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and one (1) year of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements: Mechanical – Must have successful completion of vocational/military/technical school training in practical or industrial arts and one (1) year of experience in mechanical fabrication and structural/fixture setup supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.

 

Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

 

Desired Qualifications: Operation of DeweSoft (data acquisition), operation of MTS hydraulic controls. Installation and removal of hydraulic equipment. 

 

Duties: Performing engineering technician tasks in support of aviation test programs. Supporting the testing of military assets using established methods and procedures. This technician will be assigned to the buildup of new test load frames, maintenance of currently operating test stands, installation and removal of test assets from setups according to applicable documentation. Operation of DeweSoft (data acquisition), operation of MTS hydraulic controls, and data logging for tests. Installation and removal of hydraulic equipment. Setup and conduction support for tests on the Universal Test Stand. Travel as needed on and off site. Support for the Launcher Program as needed.
