The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Summer Intern in Manufacturing Quality Organization to work in our Huntsville Alabama site this upcoming summer of 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to use a student’s education & gain practical experience. Working with a cross-function team to understand processes & data. Position is expected to work between 20-29 hours per week. The project focus will be implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) in the Huntsville Manufacturing Machining Facility.
Primary Responsibilities.
- Ability to use the MS Office suite of software, perform analytical analysis, status Management weekly on progress, issues & recommendations.Â
- Write project ending report (task, findings, results, etc).
- Work with a variety of organizations to understand processes & outputs in a teaming work environment.Â
Basic Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited College/University pursuing an Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering bachelor’s in science degree.
- Must have a minimum overall 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to work onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Ability to understand & use CAD software.
- Basic understanding of Statistical Process Controls (SPC).

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
