Leidos Defense Sector is looking for a Calibration Technician.

The Calibration Technician will coordinate and oversee tools and equipment.  Verify ESD workstations and solder stations. Install and test a variety of calibration and ESD related equipment such as measurement and test tools, assembly tools, ground blocks, wrist strap detectors, ESD workstation, dissipative mat material and flooring.

Ensure that equipment is labeled correctly. Maintain accurate records, ensure calibration is current and NIST-approved, and verify documents and certificates are entered into online tracking tool.

Use various types of test equipment such as multimeters, constant monitor testers, and multiple resistance test kits.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Basic Qualifications

Requires a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent plus two (2) years of applicable measurement and test equipment or other equipment maintenance experience.

Should have excellent written, verbal, communication, interpersonal, organizational, electrical, mechanical, and analytical, skills.

Should have effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required.

Is proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Able to lift 35 lbs.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. **This position does not pay for relocation expenses**

Ability to be mobile for most of the workday.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $40,300.00 - $72,850.00
