What Makes a McKibbon Buffet/Server/Cashier?Â

The Server takes orders and serves food and beverage items to our customers in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner.Â

Requirements:Â
- One to two years’ experience as a serverÂ
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including shift work, weekends, and holidaysÂ
- The legal ability to serve alcohol in the State/ProvinceÂ
- Knowledge of state and local guidelines regarding service of alcoholÂ
- Knowledge of drink preparationÂ
- Computational skills to process guest paymentsÂ
- Course work or certification/education in restaurant or business field are highly desiredÂ
- Food safety certification and/or alcohol service training recommendedÂ
- The ability to lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basisÂ
- The ability to help create an energized bar atmosphere through friendly and personalized serviceÂ
- The ability to anticipate customer needs, and change course of action accordinglyÂ
