PR025-051 - SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

QTEC Aerospace is seeking a Software Developer to join our team of professionals in Huntsville, AL. Qualified applicants will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic.

The selected candidate will function as an integral member of a team to provide program, engineering, and technical support to a variety of programs.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide software engineering development and support from requirements through design, coding, integration, and testing.
• Prototype Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) algorithms and applications
• Perform other engineering and logistics tasks as assigned by QTEC Aerospace.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline or equivalent experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Experience with programming in object-oriented languages such as C#, Java and Python
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience using machine learning libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, Pandas, Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn, Seaborn, Theano, Keras, or PyTorch
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) algorithms and applications
• Experience with dynamic programming techniques and writing applications using dynamic programming languages (Python, Groovy, JavaScript, LISP, etc)
• Experience with development using .Net Framework
• Big Data Analytics
• Proficiency in supporting and updating existing software applications to maintain cybersecurity compliance
• Proficiency in building web-based applications and REST APIs
• Proficiency in building web-based GUIs, using HTML and CSS, in modern MVC / MVVM
• Ability to adapt new code with existing code base, fluency with multiple software paradigms

Security Clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
