501702 Business Analyst

Work Location:            Huntsville, AL 

Schedule:                    Full Time; 40 hours per week; 8 hours per day in office (remote work is not authorized)

IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst will support the customer with senior program/budget support. Ideal candidates have recent and relevant experience gained from providing similar types of support to DoD organizations or DoD contractors. This position requires the candidate to already possess a Secret Security Clearance (Active). Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.

Minimum Position requirements: 

  • Experience collecting and analyzing Army Program Budget Brief (APBB), Program Review (Deep Dive), Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR), Continuous Capability Analysis and Assessment (C2A2), and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) briefings. 
  • Possess working knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. 
  • Knowledgeable of Army business processes regarding multiple types of appropriations to include Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA), Aircraft Procurement Army (APA) and Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E)
  • Experience with Program Elements (PE), MDEPs, and Subactivity Groups (SAGs).  
  • Knowledge of Army publishing guidelines.
  • Experience reviewing travel orders and authorizations in Defense Travel System in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
  • Manages APBB and POM/C2A2 processes. 
  • Designs and updates brief and data capture templates for APBB and POM/C2A2 deep dive briefs.
  • Develops and delivers instruction on building and reviewing APBB and POM/C2A2 deep dive briefs.
  • Reviews and consolidates APBB and POM/C2A2 deep dive inputs.  This includes conducting reviews and monitoring status and inputs from other review teams.
  • Tracks status of APBB and POM/C2A2 deep dive task deliverables and requested updates from Program Offices to meet the direct customer and Headquarters Army suspense’s.
  • Renders input in preparation for high-level meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, corporate executives, government action officers, and other vendors. This input may be narrative or charts and should be of a quality that little rework is required by senior analyst or PM. 
  • Experience in coordinating and collecting requirements for Audits (DoD Inspector General (DoD IG), Army Audit Agency (AAA), Government Accountability Office (GAO), etc)
  • Conducts reviews and provides comments, as requested, to various organizational draft written guidance.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment. 
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors and 10 years concentrated in the functional responsibility area of the position to be filled
  • Masters and 8 years concentrated in the functional responsibility area of the position to be filled

Travel: May require travel up to 5%.
