Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Logistics Analyst to support Army logistics and supply-chain operations at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

The Lead Logistics Analyst will lead logistics analysis and process-optimization efforts, evaluate supply-chain performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide technical leadership to junior analysts.

This position requires extensive Army logistics experience and significant hands-on experience with the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead logistics and supply-chain analysis activities.
  • Analyze logistics processes, performance data, and operational trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply-chain effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Support inventory-management analysis and process improvement.
  • Evaluate transportation and distribution processes and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Apply Army supply regulations and logistics policies to analytical activities.
  • Conduct analysis using data from Army logistics systems.
  • Provide recommendations to Government and program leadership based on analytical findings.
  • Develop and present logistics analyses, reports, briefings, and recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement of logistics and supply-chain processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to junior logistics analysts.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving logistics-process deficiencies.
  • Coordinate analytical activities with other logistics, data, and program-management personnel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of Army logistics experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Army logistics and supply-chain operations.
  • Experience with inventory-management processes.
  • Knowledge of Army supply regulations.
  • Experience analyzing logistics processes and operational performance.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and provide technical direction to other analysts.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading Army logistics analytical efforts.
  • Experience with transportation optimization.
  • Experience developing logistics-performance metrics and analytical products.
  • Experience briefing senior Government or military leadership.
  • Experience supporting Army logistics organizations at Redstone Arsenal.
