General Laborer

Overview

We are seeking skilled and reliable General Laborers that typically perform basic tasks such as cleaning job sites or lifting and moving equipment and materials. More experienced General Laborers have greater responsibilities working with specialized tools and equipment to perform more complex tasks like operating forklifts, saws, grinders, mag drills and plasma cutters along with other similar type machinery.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials from work area
• Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Safely operate a variety of tools including drills, saws and grinders
• Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment

Qualifications

• High school degree or Equivalent
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds

• Must be comfortable climbing up work platforms, working at elevated levels
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Work Environment:

• Indoor/outdoor shop setting with exposure to noise, heat, sparks, and heavy equipment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required

• Must be flexible and willing to perform additional tasks that are assigned by the supervisor in ensuring successful completion of the program.

DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 18 MONTHS.
