�    Oversee duties of the summer camping staff, and the District and County education leaders in the education and camping programs.

�    Responsible to ensure the money is spent in the most effective manner, and file the necessary program evaluations to contributing groups to insure future funding remains available, for the organization’s Education Programs.

�    Develop and implement new education programs with approval by the Executive Director.

�    Develop the annual education program and budget in cooperation with the Secretary-Treasurer.

�    Provide reports as directed by the Executive Director and by-laws.

�    Work with the staff to develop relationships with cooperatives, businesses, organizations, foundations, individuals and other entities which should contribute to the Foundation and/or support its education programs. This includes participating in grant applications as directed by the Executive Director and securing education funds from cooperatives and other sources.

�    Work with Member Services in the solicitation for membership of families and adults associated with the summer camping programs.

�    Participating in Foundation events as directed

�    Provide support staff duties as directed by the Executive Director.

�    Work with fellow staffers to promote a positive image.

�    Maintain daily contact with the State office when working away from the office. Be phone accessible during working hours. Return all phone and emails from membership and public in a timely manner.

�    Other duties as assigned.



Requirements

Must have writing skills, database management and basic office computer skills, a willingness to work as a team member with other SDFU employees and a basic knowledge of the organization and its Foundation.
