Description:

Our company is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting finished goods to and from our fulfillment warehouse, (3 Minutes away) as well as assisting with warehouse duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities-
Warehouse Technician:

  • Build      and pack wholesale orders for outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate      with warehouse manager on product needs and shortages, alerting relevant      parties of any orders that will be delayed.
  • Follow      Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the warehouse.
  • Attend      weekly meetings related to job responsibilities.
  • Maintain      diligent paperwork and records with legible handwriting and organizational      skills.
  • Load      and unload incoming / outgoing trucks.

CDL Driver:

  • Load      and unload Product at required destinations.
  • Inventory      products transferred per load.
  • Complete      required paperwork and provide it to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure      delivery vehicles and equipment are operated safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain      accurate delivery logs and follows DOT regulations and company safety      policies
  • Safely      load / unload product with Hilo or Pallet jack.
  • Perform      minor repairs and maintenance on delivery trucks, such as checking oil and      tire pressure.

General and Administrative:

  • Ensure      a zero-injury environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate      effectively with the Production Team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Maintain      a professional appearance and behavior reflecting the company’s commitment      to quality and respect.
  • Comply      with customer contact standards and company procedures.
  • Conduct      all company transactions ethically and prudently.
  • Maintain      cleanliness inside and outside the workplace.

Team Collaboration:

  • Complete      all paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Behave      cooperatively and professionally with colleagues.
  • Collaborate      effectively across departments to enhance overall productivity.
  • Efficiently      manage time and tasks, seeking assistance when needed.
  • Contribute      positively to team dynamics through attitude, ideas, and strong work      ethic.
  • Implement      solutions to prevent recurrence of mistakes.

Requirements:

 Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:

  • High      school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient      in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong      math skills and understanding of logistics principles.
  • Ability      to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Must      frequently lift-up to 20 lbs. and maneuver 165lbs
  • Capable      of standing for an entire shift.
  • Energetic      team player with self-starter capabilities.
  • Proven      ability to follow and improve processes.
  • Positive      attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Maintain      a neat and professional appearance.
  • Display      patience and resilience in stressful situations.
  • Able      to adapt to shifting responsibilities as needed.
  • CDL      Class A license is required.
  • Currently      Holds up-to-date DOT medical card, or ability to renew before start date.
  • Hilo      Experience preferred.
  • Monitor      loading and unloading of equipment, ensuring accurate counts and      compliance with safety protocols.

Working Conditions:

  • Moderate      noise levels with potential periods of loud noise.
  • Weekend      work may be required during peak seasons.
  • Occasional      2nd shift hours, though rare.
  • Outside      work is required throughout different seasons.
