Pay Rate: $85.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals – Coalinga in Coalinga, CA. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions that support patient mobility, function, and overall rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility support
• Observe and report patient responses and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist

Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of California
• Current BLS Certification
