Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move-in, resident satisfaction, quality and timely service and personal attention to our residents.


The Maintenance Supervisor responds to our resident's service request and is instrumental in helping Cushman and Wakefield deliver superior customer service to our residents.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Ā 

  • PreparesĀ all market-readyĀ apartments, which may include painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure a quality productĀ toĀ our residents.Ā 

  • Completes resident serviceĀ requestĀ in a timely manner.Ā 

  • Has knowledge of various maintenance functions including and not limited to plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry skills, appliance, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues.Ā 

  • Maintains grounds, pools/ hot tubs,Ā common areas, and dog parks to keep them clean, free of trash, debris, and other safety issues.Ā 

  • Performs on-call emergency procedures asĀ required.Ā 

  • Reports any maintenance issues that affect the budget such as life safety, vacant repairs, property damages, andĀ common areaĀ needs to the manager.Ā 

  • Schedules and performs preventative maintenance andĀ recordsĀ such activities.Ā 

  • Is knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systemsĀ regardingĀ maintenance.Ā 

  • Attends andĀ participatesĀ in training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield and local city and stateĀ jurisdictions.Ā 

  • Provide superior customer service andĀ representĀ the company in a professional manner at all times.Ā 

COMPETENCIES:Ā Ā 

  • Must be able to work any shift Sunday-Saturday to support the company's business needs.Ā 

  • Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment used to perform job dutiesĀ 

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ā 

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.Ā 

  • MustĀ possessĀ a valid Driver's License.Ā 

  • CPO if required by city or state.Ā 

  • EPA 608 - Minimum of Type IIĀ 

  • Follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and proceduresĀ 

IMPORTANT EDUCATIONĀ Ā 

  • High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational schoolĀ Ā 

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCEĀ Ā 

  • 3+ years ofĀ relatedĀ experienceĀ

WORK ENVIRONMENTĀ 

This jobĀ operatesĀ in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filingĀ cabinetsĀ and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.Ā 

PHYSICAL DEMANDSĀ 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may beĀ requiredĀ to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.Ā The employee may also be regularlyĀ requiredĀ to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularlyĀ operateĀ office machinery.Ā The employee must be able to travel up toĀ 10 %Ā of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration.Ā The employee mustĀ demonstrateĀ the ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 100 poundsĀ frequently, and/or up toĀ 100Ā pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.Ā

The compensation for the position is: $30.60 - $36.00
