About the Role:

The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the management team to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, coordinating between departments, and driving initiatives that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will act as a key liaison between staff and senior management, facilitating communication and problem-solving to meet organizational goals. This role requires a proactive approach to managing resources, resolving issues, and implementing policies that align with company standards. Ultimately, the Assistant Manager contributes to creating a positive work environment that fosters growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.

• Responsibilities:

  • Oversee some aspects of the shop's operations, including sales, services, and administration
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and profitability
  • Manage a team of technicians, service advisors, and other staff
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners
  • Manage inventory and budgets
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators

  Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a management role within an automotive shop
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue and profitability
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in automotive repair principles and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer skills using email, Google drive, Excel, etc.
