Maintenance Technician - Swing Shift

About the Role:

Challenger Pallet is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring everything runs flawlessly so we can continue delivering top-quality service.

While experience in mechanical work and welding is a plus, it's not a requirement. We value hands-on experience and a strong willingness to learn, and we provide onsite training to help you succeed in your role.

*This is a Swing Shift position working Monday through Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM*

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair industrial machinery, including motors, gearboxes, and belt conveyors
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure minimal downtime
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
• Lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks
• Collaborate with the team to improve equipment efficiency

Qualifications:

• Preferred: 2+ years of mechanical experience (but not required)
• Familiarity with motors, gearboxes, and belt conveyors is an advantage
• Experience with welding is beneficial
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Forklift experience is a plus
• A team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Schedule & Pay:

• Full-time, Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Starting pay: $21 - $25 per hour, depending on experience
• 40 hours per week
