Job DetailsJob Location: Creation Museum - Petersburg, KY 41080Position Type: InternshipJob Category: InternshipThe Embark Internship Program supports the spiritual, personal, and professional growth of college students. Interns will have the opportunity to serve others with a mindset focused on making a lasting, eternal impact.  As an AV Technician Embark intern the student will work alongside other AiG AV Technicians to provide audio, lighting and video presentations for live events, technical support, exhibit AV support, operation, and maintenance of all AV technology throughout all Answers in Genesis facilities. This internship will provide opportunities to learn about events and attraction production in a working environment. This internship will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position provides opportunities for spiritual, personal, and professional development. Please note that the AV Technician Embark Intern does not create video content for the ministry. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external audiences, ensuring that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis are communicated in an effective and God-honoring manner.   Responsibilities  Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.  Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.   Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset  Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments   Participate in development courses provided for Embark Interns. Participate in an online apologetics training program. Volunteer in the attraction operation departments to display our SERVE core values. Support daily Ark/Museum operations alongside current AV staff. This includes but is not limited to: exhibit AV, event audio, video and lighting, conference room AV support. Live Audio, IMAG Switching, Lighting Operation and programing. Ensure equipment maintenance is performed properly and timely. And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.  QualificationsRequirements  Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.  Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.  A flexible schedule is a must as the AV Technician Embark Intern needs to be available for before and after normal hours AV support Must be able to work weekends Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to climb ladders Must be a self-starter and be able to see jobs through to completion Must have a servant’s heart. Education & Experience  Must have a minimum of 45 College Credits Must be currently pursuing a degree. Audio, broadcast, or media degree program are preferred.
