Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering/Assembly Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to assemble, troubleshoot, and test electronic equipment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assembling, troubleshooting, and testing on a variety of existing products
- Assisting in prototype builds
- Fabricating sub-assemblies and cable harnesses
- Inspecting and packaging of outgoing products
- Preparing/updating documentation
- Interfacing with component vendors
- PCB Rework
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent related training/certification if applicable or additional years of experience) and typically 2+ years
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in soldering for wire splicing or PCB rework
- Experience in cable harness assembly
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Must be a US Citizen
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- IPC Certification for soldering skills
- Experience with 3D printing/laser etching software
