Responsibilities:Â Â
- Lead Directional Bore crew and assist training new hiresÂ
- Read and interpret blueprints and permitsÂ
- Adhere to all Federal, State, Local laws and permitting pertaining to each jobsiteÂ
- Locate the bore path for the Drilling equipmentÂ
- Preform daily maintenance on all jobsite equipment and vehiclesÂ
- Ensure proper bore rig set-up, & fluid mixingÂ
- Able to properly attach product to be pulled inÂ
- Able to accurately operate DCI tracking systemsÂ
- Able to locate and pothole necessary utility linesÂ
- Demonstrate good judgment in the fieldÂ
- Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policiesÂ
- Minimum of 2 years of experience locating drill string and running crewÂ
- Clean Insurable driving recordÂ
- Class A CDL preferred / chauffer’s license or CDL permit required before starting. Must obtain CDL within 90 days of hire.Â
- Must be willing to work overtimeÂ
- Must be team oriented and display leadership skillsÂ
- Exceptional knowledge of horizontal directional drillsÂ
- Positive attitude, hard work ethic, and a priority for safety.Â
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather.Â
