Company Overview: TCH Industries, a leader in industrial and metal hose manufacturing and distribution for over 40 years. We have recently begun growing through acquisition and will continue to do so. We serve a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, automotive, and aerospace.

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented high achiever to join our team as the Controller during a period of rapid expansion through acquisitions. As a leader of accounting team with local and remote employees, you will play a pivotal role at the forefront of our growth journey and contribute to the continued success of TCH Industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile P&L and Balance Sheet Accounts: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis.

• Oversee Large Volume of AP and AR Transactions: Manage and ensure the accuracy of high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring efficient processing and compliance with internal controls.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly reports, variance analysis, and forecasting, using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain strong internal controls and processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

• Cleaning and Correcting Journal Entries: Analyze, clean, and correct journal entries in the General Ledger (GL) to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• KPI Tracking: Track KPI's for the business and develop best practices for reporting through the financials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience as a Controller or in an equivalent senior accounting role, ideally with experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

• Strong experience in P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliation, AP and AR management, and journal entry correction.
• Proven track record of working with a high volume of transactions and complex financial requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
