General Cleaner

Job DetailsJob Location: BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, OH 44131 To provide optimal client support, the General Cleaner is responsible for providing exceptional janitorial service coverage by performing client defined cleaning expectations and special projects as needed.  JV Janitorial Services will train the employee on the proper guidelines, procedures and proper use of chemicals and equipment during initial training and on an ongoing basis. Employees are expected to follow these guidelines and procedures as outlined.   Our Core Values: TRAITS:  Trust, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Teamwork, and Safety     Responsibilities: Specific duties may vary depending on the Scope of Work required by the client at each location.  General cleaning, including, but not limited to: trash removal; dusting; cleaning restrooms (basins, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors, trash and replenish supplies) break rooms, offices, conference rooms; sweeping and mopping floors; vacuuming floors; window washing; other duties as assigned. Qualifications Skills/Ethics:   Confidentiality Professional business etiquette Follow all guidelines, policies and procedures Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision Highly organized and flexible Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Excellent oral/written communication skills Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy Requirements: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where good physical and mental health is required Completing work to standard operating procedures Adhering to scheduled days and hours assigned Ability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach high and low, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for 3 to 8 hours per shift.
