About AuBurn Pharmacy:
At AuBurn Pharmacy, we are dedicated to providing our community with personalized healthcare solutions and exceptional customer service. Our pharmacists play a vital role in promoting health and wellness while ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Hours of the store are 9am - 7pm, Monday - Friday and Saturdays 9am - 1pm. Must be able to work any and all hours of operation.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing the highest standards of pharmaceutical services. We focus on all aspects of pharmacy including direct patient contact, immunization, MTM, long term care, adherence, and disease state management.  This requires someone who is open to innovation, outgoing, assertive, customer focused, detail-oriented and who has excellent leadership skills including people management and excellent communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications and ensure accuracy in medication preparation.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and monitoring stock levels.
  • Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry trends.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. or RPH) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current pharmacist license in good standing with the state board of pharmacy.
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
