Scope of Performance: This position is that of an Master Scheduler, Indian Head Naval Surface Warfare Center, MD. This position will be full-time and onsite (40 hrs. weekly). Project Scheduler will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Microsoft Project. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and leadership to ensure accurate timeline planning, risk identification, and schedule performance tracking.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to learn and assist with scheduling and updating meetings as required for various project management teams
  • Support and coordinate facility projects following strict scheduling guidelines 
  • Manage day-to-day operations to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Analyze data and statistics for recommendation on project and program activities 
  • Manage and maintain meeting minutes and action tracking to ensure efficient operations
  • Ability to manage quality plans and reports for process improvements for data analysis and policy development
  • Manage day-to-day operations and calendars to track progress and forecast impacts
  • Ability to schedule risk analysis and mitigation strategies 
  • Work alongside process improvement teams to streamline production and energetic systems 

 

Education and Experience – REQUIRED:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management, business, or related field
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Project
  • Vast knowledge in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to gain/maintain Secret Clearance
  • Strong analytic skills in data analysis tools and software
