We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Residential IDD Services in Indiana, PA. The Director of Residential Services maintains a high-quality program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person is responsible for supporting the team with day-to-day operations and challenges to achieve programmatic goals.Â
Starting pay is $65,000/per yearÂ
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Lead and train a team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesÂ
- Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognitionÂ
- Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffedÂ
- Develop and update Individual Support Plans (ISP)/Person-Centered Plans (PCP) with an interdisciplinary team to include any concerns, observations, and behavioral developmentsÂ
- Ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior managementÂ
- Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timelyÂ
- Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concernsÂ
- Manage relationships with the families and guardians of the individuals in our careÂ
- May conduct programmatic investigationsÂ
- May be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staffÂ
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assignedÂ
- Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Minimum RequirementsÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree required with Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilitiesÂ
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recordÂ
- Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experienceÂ
- Experience with problem solving against multiple prioritiesÂ
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supportsÂ
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testingÂ
