This position is a ground-level opportunity at a new company looking to create and capitalize on a new marketplace. In this position, you will assist Project Managers delivering projects, with innovative problem-solving initiatives, while coordinating with all necessary professionals and disciplines, will be among one's primary duties.
Essential Functions
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining project planning documents.
- Support the development and tracking of project schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
- Participate in asset management activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting for infrastructure projects.
- Help implement preventative maintenance and repair strategies for community assets.
- Assist with the preparation and assembly of proposals for new projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to technical content and background research for proposals and presentations.
- Conduct technical research to support project design, implementation, and problem-solving.
- Gather and analyze background information relevant to project goals and community needs.
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to support project design and documentation.
- Work with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to analyze spatial data and support asset management and planning
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success.
- Communicate findings, updates, and recommendations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and technologies (including CAD and GIS).
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to innovative solutions for infrastructure improvement.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
- Preferred Associate's Degree and 2 years of construction/design industry experience
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree
Experience Qualifications
- Required 2 years of construction/design industry experience
- Preferred Construction management and/or engineering technician experience
- Required Microsoft 365 Suite
- Bluebeam experience
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Canva
