Job Description

Employee Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• HPLC
• HS-GC
• HPLC Method Maintenance (buffers, standards, etc)
• HS-GC Method Maintenance
• In Process Testing - Support Analytical testing for the duration of campaigns
• In process sample tracking
• In process testing (sample prep, integrations, reporting results)
• Kaiser, or other similar bench top reagent testing
• LOD Laboratory operations, General lab housekeeping, Inventory management (inspecting consumables, ordering of supplies, organizing storage units)
• Support ResultsUtility and EM qualifications, followed by routine monitoring
• Water Collection
• Water sample identification/submittal to QC/retrieval of results
• EM sample identification/retrieval of results  
• N2 sample identification/ retrieval of results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
• 2-4 years of related industry experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail
• Capability to work well on a team and be able to troubleshoot and problem solve in cross functional team setting
• Ability to read, comprehend, and present complex subjects
• Independently engage and collaborate with coworkers, customers, and management
• Must be able to identify problems and know when to solve proactively and seek advice

Additional Information

• The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
