Vision Statement: Lead Thursday Children's Ministry by creating engaging environments where children can encounter Jesus, volunteers are equipped to disciple the next generation, and families experience meaningful connection and support.

  3. Strengthen Ministry Systems, Communication, and Administration


Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute weekly Thursday ministry environments and experiences by teaching, preparing communion, and leading baptism conversation.
  • Ensure curriculum, supplies, classrooms, and ministry environments are prepared and ready Thursday Services.
  • Partner with Children's Ministry staff to align Thursday programming with overall ministry vision and goals.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records, registrations, volunteer information, and family databases for Thursday service.
  • Evaluate programming effectiveness via attendance, engagement, and leader retainment and implement improvements as needed.

  • Assist in collaborative planning and executing special events, camps, and seasonal ministry initiatives.

  • Recruit, onboard, schedule, and equip volunteers for Thursday Kids programming.
  • Develop healthy volunteer teams and cultivate a culture of ownership, excellence, and spiritual growth through regular communication and evaluation processes.
  • Assist in communication with families through email, social media, and other ministry channels.
  • Organize ministry calendars, event logistics, and administrative processes.
  • Collaborate with Children's Ministry staff to improve ministry systems, communication, and organization.
  • Attend weekly Staff Huddle and monthly Staff Gatherings
  • Pastoral and related duties as assigned.
