We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Indiana Women's Prison located in Indianapolis, Indiana and Edinburgh Correctional Facility in Edinburgh, Indiana. The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Essential Duties: •   Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments •   Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory •   Operating radiographic equipment •   Administrative tasks as needed Qualifications•   High school diploma or GED equivalent required •   Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required •   Certification in Dental Radiology required •   Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred •   Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening •   Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) •   Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Available Shifts: part-time or full-time Full-time 4 days/32 hours per week (3 days at Indiana Women's Prison + 1 day at Edinburgh Correctional Facility) Centurion is the provider of healthcare services for the Indiana DOC.
