In this position, we are looking for a Dispatch Specialist who can multitask, work with computers/typing, pay great attention to detail, utilize metrics, and work with high-volume inbound/outbound phone calls in an office setting. The training period for this position is 2-4 weeks long with a schedule of Mon-Fri 10am-7pm. The actual schedule after training will continue to be 10am-7pm and may include a weekend-day.

Hours of operation are Sat-Sun 7am-5pm, Mon-Fri 7am-7pm.

What Will I Do?

Learn the business and learn how to prioritize the most urgent customer calls.
Ensure a quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the technicians in the field.
Monitor and respond to dispatch related items in the Dispatch inbox constantly.
Contact customers to inform them of the technician's estimated time of arrival.
Schedule return visits for technicians and plumbers.
Estimate drive time accurately.
Record and report the service calls.
Participate in training so that you grow and develop as a professional.
Update clients throughout the day on the technician’s progress.
Ensure understanding by applying advanced listening skills (echoing) in all interactions

Do I have What it Takes?

1-2+ years of experience in high-volume dispatching required
Dispatching in the service industry is a bonus!
Typing skills 30+ WPM
Excellent listening and communication skills
The ability to multitask and work at a fast pace is key in this role
