Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role 

  • Investigates and diagnoses electrical system failures or malfunctions to determine the necessary repairs, replacements, or upgrades. 
  • Installs new electrical equipment and advanced systems to improve facility capabilities and energy management systems. 
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance on all electrical infrastructure in strict compliance with NFPA, NEC, and TJC codes, while keeping training manuals updated. 
  • Responds to after-hours emergencies and power outages, utilizes standard precautions/PPE, and maintains tools in safe, working condition to eliminate immediate hazards. 
  • Informs staff on work order statuses, assists with special projects, and participates in training, workshops, and seminars to ensure regulatory compliance. 

Qualifications

Must have one or more of the following:   

  • Graduate of high school  
  • Graduate of trade school   
  • 2 years’ related experience   
  • Relevant license  
  • Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience
