English Language Teacher in Indianapolis

• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana -zip code 46204- (near Whole Foods on 320 E Market St) 
• Preferred start date: as soon as possible
• Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person

Details

• Availability:
– Tuesday and Wednesday between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm
– Saturday and Sunday between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm
• Frequency: 1 time per week, 1-hour lessons
• Current target language level: English (advanced – to be further developed)
• Native/other languages: Spanish (advanced)

Student’s language needs and goals:
• Improve business English communication skills
• Expand professional and business-related vocabulary
• Improve pronunciation and reduce accent
• Develop effective presentation skills in English
• Gain confidence navigating business culture in English-speaking environments

Additional Information:
• Interests include reading, cinema, traveling, and learning about new cultures

Responsibilities

• Design structured business-focused English lessons
• Focus on vocabulary building, pronunciation, and accent improvement
• Incorporate presentation skills and professional communication practice
• Introduce cultural insights relevant to professional environments
• Adapt lessons to the student’s interests and business goals

Qualifications

• To have a native or near-native proficiency in English
• To have a degree in education, TESOL, linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching adult learners
• Experience teaching Business English is strongly preferred
• Ability to deliver engaging, structured, and goal-focused lessons
