As a Field Service Technician, you'll be out in the field every day — visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance and environmental testing, and building real relationships with customers who count on you. If you like hands-on work, solving problems, and staying on the move, this is the job for you.Â
Your Day-to-Day EnvironmentÂ
- Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory, driving about 30–300 miles per dayÂ
- Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicleÂ
- Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the dayÂ
- Some overnight travel requiredÂ
- Work may include early mornings, or later evenings based on hospital scheduling needsÂ
What You'll Take Ownership OfÂ
- Perform airflow and environmental testing in hospital and healthcare environmentsÂ
- Support air balancing and ventilation verification across multiple hospital facilitiesÂ
- Work in active healthcare settings, including mechanical and hard-to-reach areasÂ
- Conduct testing during off-hours when required to support hospital operationsÂ
- Travel to healthcare facilities across the Chicago and Indianapolis regionÂ
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare and safety standardsÂ
- Serve as a trusted technical partner to hospital staff and internal teamsÂ

What You'll BringÂ
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus)Â
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical workÂ
- 1–3 years of experience in air balancing, environmental/airflow testing, industrial hygiene, EHS, mechanical/facilities work, or healthcare compliance — or a degree in a related field (recent graduates welcome).Â
- Certifications such as NEEB, AABC, or air balancing accreditation are strongly preferred.Â
- Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus.Â
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordÂ
