How you'll make an impact in this role
Participate/implement strategies in fund-raising campaigns, grant administration, major gift and/or charitable development programs for the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with fund-raising campaigns including budgets and time-lines. Coordinate the creative process, file selection, production and mailing, and the acknowledgement process
- Support strategy to train staff on marketing campaigns, soliciting donors, and defining levels of giving and benefits
- Create printed materials and update databases and websites with campaign program information
- Implement donor relations/recognition activities
- Develop donor confidence and relationships through effective gift solicitation, processing and acknowledgement.
- Support the development and implementation of tracking strategies for solicitation efforts and perform analysis of data for results.
- Participate and lead associate solicitations, including key internal leaders
- Oversee and implement Associate Campaigns in Central Indiana and across the state
- Assist in the project selection and manage co-chairs and volunteers
- Develop messaging strategy and targeted audiences for Campaigns
- Oversee giving societies for Central Indiana and support giving societies and annual renewals statewide
- Implement strategies to acquire new donors and re-engage lapsed donors, including direct mail, e-mail, social, etc
- Oversee budget and time-lines for assigned areas, ensuring deadlines are met
- Facilitate ongoing, year-round associate giving for Central Indiana
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Certification specializing in Fund Raising preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
Bachelors degree required.
Prefer CFRE certification (Certified Fund Raising Executive) or CAP (Chartered Advisor & Philanthropy).
Must have excellent relationship building skills.
Must have strong project management experience.Â
