IT Help Desk Technician

We're looking for an IT Help Desk Technician who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and making technology work. If you're the person who stays calm under pressure, enjoys troubleshooting, and takes pride in finding solutions, you'll fit right in.
This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Northwest Indianapolis headquarters supporting approximately 300 employees across multiple business divisions throughout Indiana.
What You'll Do
As the first line of IT support, you'll help keep our employees productive by providing exceptional technical support and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
Your Responsibilities
Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, remote support, and in person
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals, and business software
Set up new employees with computers, accounts, and system access
Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and Microsoft 365 support
Escalate complex technical issues while maintaining communication with the end user
Document support tickets, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
Assist with system upgrades, software deployments, and IT improvement projects
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure systems remain secure and up to date
Educate employees on technology best practices and cybersecurity awareness
Continue learning new technologies to improve our IT environment

Qualifications
Experience in an IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support role
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and business software
Familiarity with printers, networking, mobile devices, and user account management
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
Ability to explain technical issues in a way anyone can understand
Strong organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
