Job DetailsJob Location: Indianapolis, IN 46250Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 HourlyEMSL is currently seeking a Full Time Laboratory Analyst (Chemistry) in Indianapolis. No laboratory experience is required, just a desire to learn technical skills and become proficient in common laboratory practices and procedures. On-the-job training will be provided for all new employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Preparation and digestion of environmental lead samples: paint, soil, wipes and cassettes by Flame AA Preparation and analysis of samples using ICP Laboratory work environment requires care when handling acids, solvents, and other reagents Generate analytical reports and enter data into the LIMS system Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed Perform quality control practices per company Quality Assurance/Quality Control manual Administrative duties including sample login and data entry, scanning and emailing reports and answering phones Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the manager QualificationsRequirements: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science is required Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship 0 to 1 years' experience working in a lab setting with FLAA and/or ICP is a plus but not required Ability to distinguish colors in order to perform analysis Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude Effective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal assistance Available Shift: Position is full time, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis are encouraged to apply EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401(k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay and a flexible spending account.
